Brought to you by the Presidential Advisory Committee Against Corruption (PACAC), the Convention on Business Integrity (CBI), the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), and the Chartered Institute of Bankers (CIBN), this conference seeks to identify the gaps in the banking / financial system that predispose institutions across the economy to corruption.
The conference will set the tone of resolve with a keynote address from renowned “rouge trader,” Nick Leeson, whose dealings at Barings Bank, led to the collapse of one of Britain’s oldest financial organisations. Mr. Leeson will share his experiences and lessons, to offer insights to key sector stakeholders for the formulation of preventive measures.
